The best part of being a pizza fan is finding a new favorite slice. In Atlanta, the search for great pizza is about both the people and places as much as it is about crust and cheese.
After eating enough slices, having great conversations at communal tables, and probably ruining at least one shirt with grease stains, here is my personal quest for the best pizza in Atlanta, where every pie tells a story.
Here’s your expertly curated guide to the best pizza in Atlanta for 2025, complete with locations, menus, and official websites for planning your next pizza adventure.

1. Antico Pizza Napoletana
Location: 1093 Hemphill Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
Website: littleitalia.com

Noteworthy:
Two Michelin stars (2023, 2024), recognized for the use of imported Italian ingredients, and some kind of wood-fire oven, plus it is also from the Atlanta food scene “Little Italia” along with Gio’s Chicken and Caffe Antico.
Antico Pizza Napoletana serves one of the best pizza in Atlanta. My initial visit to Antico Pizza Napoletana was completely awe-inspiring. The line wrapped around the corner of students, families, and couples waiting in excitement to enjoy the world-class pizza inside.
The open kitchen was complete madness, but the pizza makers (pizzaiolos) manipulated the dough as if they had been doing it for years, flames reaching out from the wood-fired ovens, as the opera gladly entertained the relaxed customers.
I end up shuffling my way to a communal bench and sharing it with strangers that we would soon share our slices with and quickly become friends.
